- 1 package of puff pastry sheets
- 2 cups of fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into rectangles.
- Bake the pastry rectangles for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the pastry cool completely.
- In a bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Assemble the mille-feuille by layering pastry, whipped cream, and strawberries.
- Top with another layer of pastry and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh strawberries.
- You can substitute heavy cream with a non-dairy alternative for a vegan version.
- Make sure the pastry is completely cooled before assembling.
