Description

A delicious and elegant dessert made with layers of flaky pastry, fresh strawberries, and creamy filling.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of puff pastry sheets
  • 2 cups of fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into rectangles.
  3. Bake the pastry rectangles for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Let the pastry cool completely.
  5. In a bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  6. Assemble the mille-feuille by layering pastry, whipped cream, and strawberries.
  7. Top with another layer of pastry and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh strawberries.
  • You can substitute heavy cream with a non-dairy alternative for a vegan version.
