- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, and garlic until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
- In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens.
- In a separate pan, heat vegetable oil and sauté the broccoli until tender.
- Toss the cooked meatballs in the sauce and serve with broccoli on the side.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Feel free to substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken.
