Description

Deliciously rich brownies decorated with a spooky spiderweb design, perfect for Halloween or any festive occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup black icing for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Combine flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the butter mixture.
  4. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool completely before decorating.
  8. Using black icing, create a spiderweb design on top of the brownies.

Notes

  • For a more intense chocolate flavor, use dark cocoa powder.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • These brownies can be made a day in advance for easier preparation.
