Description

A delicious twist on traditional quesadillas, featuring juicy smash burgers and melted cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup pickles, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Form the ground beef into small balls and smash them onto the skillet to create patties.
  3. Season the patties with salt and pepper and cook until browned on both sides.
  4. Remove the patties and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, place a tortilla and sprinkle half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese on one half.
  6. Add the cooked smash burger patties, diced onions, and pickles on top of the cheese.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the fillings and fold the tortilla in half.
  8. Cook until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  9. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and fillings.
  10. Slice and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
