Description
Delicious and healthy salmon burgers served with a refreshing tzatziki sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb fresh salmon, skin removed
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 whole wheat burger buns
- 1 cup lettuce
- 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, combine the salmon, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
- Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a salmon patty on each bun, topping with lettuce and tzatziki sauce.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add some chopped jalapeños to the salmon mixture.
- These burgers can also be baked in the oven at 375°F for 15-20 minutes.
- Leftover patties can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
