Description

A delightful and festive cheese ball shaped like a pumpkin, perfect for fall gatherings and Halloween parties.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup crushed pecans
  • 1 small green bell pepper (for stem)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball and then gently press to form a pumpkin shape.
  4. Roll the cheese ball in crushed pecans to coat the outside.
  5. Insert a small piece of green bell pepper at the top for the pumpkin stem.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
  7. Serve with crackers or vegetable sticks.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add some chopped jalapeƱos to the cheese mixture.
  • This cheese ball can be made a day in advance for convenience.
