- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large oven-safe skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, orzo, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- If using, sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the orzo is tender and the cheese is melted.
