- 12 jalapeño peppers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package crescent roll dough
- Olive oil spray
- Black olives, sliced (for eyes)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
- Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Roll out the crescent dough and cut it into thin strips.
- Wrap the strips around the stuffed jalapeños to create a mummy effect.
- Place the wrapped jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spray the wrapped jalapeños with olive oil spray.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and place sliced olives on top for eyes.
Notes
- For extra spice, leave some seeds in the jalapeños.
- These can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
- Serve with ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce.
