Description

Monster Eyeball Truffles are a fun and spooky treat perfect for Halloween or any festive occasion. These chocolate truffles are designed to look like creepy eyeballs, making them a hit at parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup green candy melts
  • 1/2 cup red candy melts
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Add chocolate cookie crumbs and mix until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  6. Dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.
  7. Place the dipped truffles back on the baking sheet and let them set.
  8. Melt the green candy melts and use them to create the iris of the eyeball on each truffle.
  9. Use the mini chocolate chips as pupils by pressing them into the center of the green candy melts.
  10. Finally, drizzle the red candy melts around the truffles to create a ‘bloody’ effect.

Notes

  • For a more intense chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate cookie crumbs.
  • Store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Feel free to customize the colors and decorations for different occasions.
