Ingredients

  • 12 taco shells
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water as per package instructions, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a saucepan, combine cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and heat until smooth to create the cheese sauce.
  5. Fill each taco shell with the seasoned beef, lettuce, tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
  6. Drizzle the creamy cheese sauce over the filled taco shells.
  7. Place the taco shells in the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
  8. Serve hot with a dollop of sour cream on top.
