Description

A quick and tasty Korean Ground Beef Bowl recipe that is perfect for a weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Cooked rice, for serving
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 1 minute.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce, brown sugar, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions.
  6. Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice and garnish with sesame seeds.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the beef mixture.
