- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture generously over the salmon fillets.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the salmon fillets to the skillet, skin-side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes.
- Flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through and blackened.
- Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
