Description
A deliciously sweet and spicy baked chicken dish topped with melted feta cheese.
Ingredients

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 200 g feta cheese, crumbled
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp hot sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together honey, olive oil, hot sauce, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken breasts in the greased baking dish and pour the marinade over the top.
- Bake for 22–28 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese over the chicken and broil for an additional 2–3 minutes until the feta is golden and melted.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with pan sauce.
Notes
Marinate the chicken several hours in advance or overnight for deeper flavors. Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.
