A delightful and moist banana bread with a swirl of cinnamon and brown sugar, perfect for any occasion.

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth. Stir in the melted butter.
- Mix in the baking soda and a pinch of salt.
- Pour in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
- Gradually add the flour, stirring gently until just combined.
- In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Pour half of the banana batter into the loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture on top and pour the remaining batter over it. Finish with the rest of the cinnamon mixture.
- Using a knife, swirl the mixtures together gently.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Slice and serve.
Notes
This bread tastes even better the next day as the flavors meld. Store in an airtight container for best results.
