Description

A rich and moist chocolate bundt cake infused with the deep flavors of Guinness beer, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Guinness stout
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the Guinness and cocoa powder over medium heat until smooth.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the sour cream and vanilla extract.
  6. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the Guinness mixture.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  10. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
