A quick and delicious Garlic Butter Shrimp served over rice, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil and add rice. Cook according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Serve the garlic butter shrimp over the cooked rice and garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli for a complete meal.
