Description

A quick and delicious Garlic Butter Shrimp served over rice, perfect for a weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil and add rice. Cook according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Serve the garlic butter shrimp over the cooked rice and garnish with chopped parsley.
