- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 package (6 oz) stuffing mix
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, black pepper, and thyme.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
- In another bowl, combine the stuffing mix, chopped celery, and chopped onion.
- Spread the stuffing mixture over the chicken and soup mixture in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken and mix it with the stuffing before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider adding herbs like rosemary or parsley.
- Serve with a side of vegetables for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
