A delicious and easy-to-make cinnamon roll cake that combines the flavors of cinnamon rolls with a moist cake base, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with half of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Pour the remaining batter on top and sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Use a knife to swirl the cinnamon mixture into the batter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- For the icing, mix powdered sugar and milk until smooth and drizzle over the cooled cake.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- This cake can be served warm or at room temperature.
- Feel free to add nuts or raisins for extra texture.
