Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made chocolate pie crust
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the cherry pie filling evenly over the bottom of the chocolate pie crust.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the cream cheese and mix until well combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  6. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cherry filling in the pie crust.
  8. Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until set.
  9. Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate pie crust.
