Description

Bourbon Maple Bacon Cinnamon Rolls are a deliciously sweet and savory treat, combining the rich flavors of bourbon, maple syrup, and crispy bacon in a fluffy cinnamon roll.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, sugar, bourbon, and egg to the yeast mixture; mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until a dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread maple syrup and chopped bacon on top.
  9. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  10. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  11. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  12. Drizzle with additional maple syrup before serving.

  • For a richer flavor, use thick-cut bacon.
  • Adjust the amount of bourbon according to your taste preference.
