- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons blueberry juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, and eggs.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then gently fold in the blueberries.
- Pour the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the donuts cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
- In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar and blueberry juice to create the glaze.
- Dunk the cooled donuts into the glaze and let them set before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger blueberry flavor, add more blueberries to the batter.
- Store leftover donuts in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
- These donuts can be frozen for up to a month; just thaw before serving.
