- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until browned.
- In a large skillet, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat. Add the baked meatballs and Italian seasoning.
- Simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Serve hot with pasta or on a sub roll.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped onions to the meatball mixture.
- These meatballs can be frozen for later use.
