Description

A deliciously sweet and spicy coconut jam that brings the taste of the tropics to your table.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, sugar, sweet chili sauce, lime juice, and salt over medium heat.
  2. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture begins to simmer.
  3. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
  4. Slowly add the slurry to the saucepan, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool before transferring to a jar.
  6. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
