Description

Delicious banana bread cinnamon rolls that combine the flavors of banana bread and cinnamon rolls for a delightful treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
  3. Add sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  7. Spread melted butter over the dough and sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
  8. Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
  9. Place the slices in a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
